Welcome

      We joyfully extend the hand of welcome and fellowship in Jesus’ name to Gary Peters, who was received into Communicant Membership by affirmation of faith by the Church Council in behalf of the congregation.  May mutual blessings abound for both you and your fellow believers in our church family as we gather around Word and Sacrament!  

Installation

      Our congregation is invited to St. John’s Lutheran Church, Clarkston, WA, for the installation service of their new pastor, Rev. David Naumann.  The service will be held next Sunday, August 1st at 2 p.m., followed by a reception and fellowship meal.  If you are able to attend, please sign your name on the sheet found on the table in the hallway. 

Family VBS

        Get ready for a great ride at the Circle J Ranch, a dude ranch Vacation Bible School adventure for all ages (5 thru Adult) the week  of,  August 9-12th, from 6-8 p.m.  Besides the Bible lessons and  activities for the VBS children, the adults will also enjoy gospel-focused lessons from God’s saving Word. Children and adults who plan on attending, please fill out the registration form found in your bulletin this morning, which will help in the planning.

      Prince of Peace Lutheran, Loveland Co, has called the Rev. Michael Eichstadt, Hales Corners WI.

        Word was recently received that, upon the passing of Rev. E.E. Essien, Rev. Patrick Udo has been elected as the new president of the NCLC. Your prayers are requested on behalf of Pastor Udo and the Nigeria-CLC.

        Bethel Lutheran, Spring TX, has called the Rev. Roland H. Gurgel, Weslaco TX.
