The Gethsemane Women have planned their annual Christmas Luncheon for Saturday, December 3, at 12 noon.  Everyone is asked to bring a dish to share on the buffet table.  Those serving as hostesses and preparing the program are Eleanor Simon and Mary Ann Vogt.

Cookie donations for the Christmas trays may also be brought on that day.

Only one week from today on Sunday evening, December 4, Gethsemane's annual Christmas Party for those confirmation age and older will get underway.  The fun starts at
6 p.m. with finger-foods and Christmas caroling.  Following the caroling, we will play BINGO and everyone will exchange a "white elephant" gift, and continue to exchange as you win.  You never know what will happen, but lots of laughs are assured!  Each family is asked to bring a favorite finger-food and/or a dessert to share on the buffet table, and every person attending should bring a wrapped "white elephant" gift (no names on the gifts).  The beverages will be provided.   Come and enjoy the evening of Christian fellowship!

The Church Council has appointed the following men to serve on this year’s Committees:

Nominations:  Darol Baumgartner and Paul Karnitz

Budget Committee:  Ed Mace, Randy Bischoff, Dan Goldgrabe, and Jerry Lueck

These Committees are now making preparation for the December Council Meeting as well as the Annual Meeting in January.

In preparation for the celebration of our Savior’s birth, Midweek Advent Services will be held Wednesdays: November 30, December 7, and December 14, at 7 p.m. at both Gethsemane and Trinity.  Pastors List and Pfeiffer will share in leading these special services.

Congratulations and blessings are extended to Jason and Haley Karnitz, whom the Lord blessed with a healthy baby girl, Ella Grace, on Saturday, November 19.

Thank you to everyone who provided a poinsettia to beautify our chancel during the Advent & Christmas seasons as well as those individuals who are providing cookies for the Christmas trays.
